The Bhojpur Temple- Site Worth Seeing in Betwa Valley
Bhojpur Temple was a perfect spot to visit on a Saturday morning as a weekend delight. We had to drive just 17 kms to reach this famous place known for its incomplete Shiva Temple named as Bhojeshwara. The huge structure of the temple and the Shiva Linga (7.5 feet long) belonging to 1000s years back makes this temple site a must visit monument.
We reached the temple at the time of sunrise which added magic to the moments spent watching this magnificent structure believed to be carved from a single rock! Bhojpur is situated on the banks of Betwa River. The age old presence of this temple on one side of the river along with Parvati Temple situated in rock caves on the other side of Betwa delighted our travelling sense!
It is an experience beyond description to spend some time at these two historical antiques surrounded by natural beauty and serenity! For us the sunrise at Bhojpur became another cherishable chapter of our travel diaries!!
Lying so close to our home location Bhojpur has also become anytime quick escape for spending some peaceful and rejuvenating time!
Very impressive blog.
Interesting article right on the subject.
